Maintain proper ambient temperature

The length of life is greatly different if the required environmental requirements are not reached. In addition, the increase in ambient temperature will lead to increased chemical activity within the battery, resulting in a large amount of thermal energy, which in turn will promote ambient temperature rise, this vicious circle, will accelerate the shortening of battery life.

Regular charge discharge

UPS power supply of floating charge voltage and discharge voltage, at the factory have been debugged to the rated value, and the discharge current size is increased with the increase in load, use should be reasonable regulation of the load, such as the control of computers and other electronic equipment use number. Under normal circumstances, the load should not exceed the UPS rated load of 60%. In this range, the discharge current of the battery will not appear over discharge.

UPS for a long time connected with the mains, in the high quality of power supply, rarely occurs in the use of power outages in the environment, the battery will be in a long period of floating charging state, long time will lead to battery chemical energy and energy to transform the activity of the reduced, accelerated aging and shorten the service life. Use the communication function

At present, most large and medium ups have the ability to communicate with the microcomputer and program control and other operational performance. Install the corresponding software on the microcomputer, connect the UPS through the string/parallel port, run the program, can communicate with the UPS with the computer. Generally have information inquiries, parameter settings, timing settings, automatic shutdown and alarm functions. Through the information inquiry, can obtain the mains input voltage, the UPS output voltage, the load utilization rate, the battery capacity utilization rate, the machine temperature and the electricity frequency and so on information; through the parameter setting, can set UPS basic characteristic, the battery can maintain the time and the battery uses up the alarm and so on. Through these intelligent operation, greatly facilitates the UPS power supply and the use management of the battery.

Timely replacement of waste/bad batteries

At present, large and medium UPS power supply battery number, ranging from 3 to 80, or even more. These individual batteries are connected by a circuit to form a battery pack to meet the needs of UPS DC power supply. In the continuous operation of UPS, due to the difference in performance and quality, the performance of individual batteries, storage capacity is not up to the requirements of the damage is inevitable.
